I love adding in journal cards for most of my kits, and we are going to share how the team uses them in our albums this year. Journal cards and pocket scrapping go hand in hand, so it is great to have them on hand for quick easy ways to document and fill in those pockets with details.
They can be a nice space to rest your eyes among all the photos you may have taken. They can give you something to fill in a slow photos week with a cute saying like this:
or possibly be a way to summarize the chaos of the recent holidays:
Journal Cards also work on regular layouts and pocket style layouts. They can work on any type of page you want to create, including these examples:
This most recent New Year Journal Card set is also created with a 3D Dimension/Depth shadowing! Perfect for those using a scrapping app to create this year. No worries about not being able to shadow, just add these to your Dropbox to upload like you would a photo into your app template!
Journal Cards are usually available in Rounded Corners or Square Corners. You will noticed that this year I am using only the square corners. I think this makes them easier for those that want either/both, If you want to use rounded corners on your cards, I am offering this free template for you.
Simply add your journal card over the rounded corner png layer and clip them together. Voila! Round corners on every card you want to alter.
