Southern born and raised, I find that the South is deep within my roots as I pull up a beach chair and dig my toes in the sand along the Gulf Coast. Married to my best friend and blessed to be the mother of 3, my family is the comedy soap opera of true characters built from love and laughter. We are imperfect, we tend to laugh too loud, and we love … even when the miles separate us.
My journey into memory keeping started in high school and was simply gluing things down, photo cornering, and filling jars with tangible moments of my life every day. When those moments were threatened by a sudden second diagnosis of cancer, I threw myself into making amend for the errors of my way.
Memory keeping became about me telling our life story, because those photos were not telling enough. Fear of my children not knowing things only a Mother can share was a driving force. One year, countless couch days together, minutes of time that could be counted into days spent waiting for results and over 30 traditional paper albums later … I had about 1/3 of our lives in beautiful albums and pages filled with love, journaling and details.
Join me as I continue to blend into this ever growing journey combining my love of traditional paper, digital designs, and pocket style memory keeping into my own everyday albums.
