Where have I been?!?!

I am sorry for not touching base with all of you for awhile
Some of you know that my Mother was fighting a battle with cancer
for the past few years. We were able to enjoy our final month with her
before she was finally blessed with relief from her fight Dec 19th.
It was a long month, quite frankly a horrible Christmas for us, but
we were comforted by the fact that she is now looking down at us with
her painted toenails and a finger wags at all the Mimosas I sucked down
for New Years…shameful daughter that I am.
Thank you all for the sweet e-mails and payers, they went a long way
I am bringing news to you today about one the best “Memory Keeping”
projects I have seen for quite some time. I always felt pressure when I
would see Project 365/52, and knew it would never fit me or my life
This will change forever how I do my own scrapbooking.
I have wanted a way to add together my digi/paper/hybrid love, and now I can

I will let you read and know that you will find this as inspiring as I have.
There will many ideas shared to help us along the way
What does this mean for us at Etc? I will including MANY little sets to help
you journal and scrap away those everyday moments with every kit.
I will often release special products just for the Tell Your Story,
so be watching for lots of ways to keep your memories nearer and dearer.
The first set matching a new kit will release this week
I think Mondays will the official TYS days, with me posting my own
album photos starting next week so you can get an idea of how I am doing mine.
I hope we can inspire each other and really make our scrap have more life.
I posted a new FB freebie of journaling bits with color variations of some

  1. My heart goes out to you and your family. We lost my mom to cancer in September, so I know exactly what you mean about it being both horrible and a relief that she has gone to a better place. May God grant you peace. I admire your strength.

  2. So sorry for your loss! I 2nd what everyone else has said. And there’s no need to apologize for being gone — but glad you’re back. And thanks for the word bits.

  3. Oh, Hon…so very sorry for your loss. I was wondering about your Mom and if that was why you weren’t around very much. Losing a parent is so hard and Christmas time seems to intensify it. Cancer took my Dad in 2000, right after Christmas. I hope and pray that 2012 is a much better year for you and your family. Hugs and love to you.

  4. sorry to hear of your recent loss… family is so important
I so enjoy your blog and the inspiration you provide in the sharing of both your life and your talents.
    blessings to you

  5. I’m sorry for your mother, I understand your pain because I am facing the same situation and it is very difficult. The holiday season has not been easy.
Courage …. I am wholeheartedly with you and your family.

  6. The pain is so unbearable at times. She will truly be missed. Its comforting to remember that there is life after death and I’m guessing that God needed another Angel in Heaven. Rose
