Bend but Do Not Break

It should come as no surprise that I love me some shabby. In both the paper and digiworld, I look for papers that look worn, elements that may feel slightly “damaged”, and most anything that has some “soul” to it.

My new release is another addition to the shabby kits I add to my store every few products, as that is where my heart goes when I open a photo to play with on a page.

I am surrounded by shades of greens, blues, and creams along the coast. Even in Winter my grass stays a bit of a greenish hue, making it impossible my looking out the window must days and know how it actually feels.
Our photos play on those colors, so this one is perfect for many everyday type of pages. I wanted to bring in a bit of a change of the seasons as we ease into Spring here, and encourage some “Me’ pages with journal prompts too. So many different directions you can go with this one!
Here is a page I created for my daughter as she finishes up her last year in high school, and continues to grow into a beautiful woman. IT is often hard to explain the need to “just breathe” to a 17 year old, bound for college and in such a hurry she forgets to appreciate the ride. The destination will happen whether you enjoyed the trip or not, hahaha! She has my ♥ and is such a joy to share a life with.
There were so many pages created with this one. Pleases feel free to browse the Etc by Danyale Inspiration Gallery and find some creative muse. I would love to add your pages you create to our gallery!
As you upload to our fabulous “pinning” gallery, please include #etcbydanyale in your “keywords”. When I pull up pages using that hashtag, I will gladly “oooh & ahhh” over them and add them to our collection. ♥
