Pinterest Interest – Do you have it?

I will admit to the fact that I love Pinterest. Gone are the days where I had saved way too many “favorites” to my browser, and now I embrace the pinning boards as my personal footnotes of information.

I created boards that fill my personal needs as well as business. One of my more recent boards that I find myself going too is inspiration for Project Life – pocket scrapping.

I added a digital page to that board recently that gives you an idea on how I am working on adding a digital side to my traditional form of memory keeping.

This one really helps me show you ways to simplify journaling for those that struggle with it. If you tell a bit about each photo, then guess what?

You are a journaler! I started by just focusing a moment on each photo. Typing just a few words for each one turned this photo filled page into a journal/photo filled page with a simple process.

Feel free to pin this image/post to your Pinterest board as a go-to tip on just one journaling idea. We will be sharing more and more as our albums fill with pages. We have lots of them!
As I scrap my “digi pocket style” pages, to me it is not always about a symmetrical balance of 3×4 and 4×6 cards. It is a way of formatting your pages so that next to each other in your albums, they tell a story. There are and will be a various sizes, but within those guides you will find a common thread. They give you a feeling of balance within the lines…the bones of the page.

I love the idea of playing with paper, and keeping multiple days of memories within a simple pocket Project Life album. The other side of my creative brain, loves playing in digi, and adding them within those albums. I am even okay with adding in random bits simply because I can. These are my albums, your albums. Learn to embrace the you in them and don’t be afraid to draw outside of the lines.

In other words, I want it all and I want you to have it all as well.

A new fork in the road of my journey in memory keeping is here. I will be sharing how to incorporate many ideas into albums. The days of having to choose paper or digi are gone. We are going to embrace what we love about each, come up with more ideas together and learn a whole way to share my family memories. ♥
