Hybrid Journal Card Mini Album

Hi! Cathy here with  such a cute and quick project, I just had to share! I started by using Journal Cards from the On the Street We Live digital kit. I was able to put together this mini album about our home and neighborhood in no time!

Isn’t that adorable for a coffee table or gift?

Here’s how I did it using my Silhouette Cameo.:

I used a mini album file from the Silhouette store, but you could easily make this by just printing the journal cards and cutting them to make the pages of the album. This album is 4×6″, the size of 2 of the cards included in the set.

I brought the journal cards that I wanted to use into the Silhouette Studio software. As I laid them out, I also created some pages using papers from the digital kit. I set the “Registration Marks” on and printed them 2 at a time to 8.5×11″ presentation paper.

I then ran them through my Silhouette Cameo to cut them.

Once cut, I inked all the pages. I love the depth that inking can give to a project! I laid out the photos that I wanted to use in Photoshop. You could do this in Silhouette Studio if you choose too. I also printed them, cut them out and inked the edges as well.

Lastly,  I assembled the album by adhering the pages back-to-back.

Here’s how it turned out:

Here are a few closeups of some of the pages and journaling:

We hope you enjoyed this easy project and please feel free to share with us any you decide to create using the etc by Danyale product line!

Happy creating!
