April Blog Challenge: Paint

Hey, there! Are you ready for the April Etc by Danyale blog challenge?

Last month we played with the number three. Our winner for March is: Shivani! Congratulations! – be sure to email us at:

danyalelewis@etcbydanyale.com or use the contact form here on the site.

This month we are going to paint it up. Literally. Danyale makes the most beautiful paint elements, and this will be the month to really explore all that they have to offer. Perhaps you saw this blog post on using the blend mode to get the most out of your paint stash. Feel free to use this tip with this month’s challenge. The rules are really simple this month…you just need to use paint on your layout- really in any way that makes you happy.

Jen often uses paint in the center of her page underneath her photos and clustering. She also likes to use paint on the edges of her page to grunge up her background. This time she used paints from the Full of Blarney collection on the edges of her layout. She also used the blend mode to mute the colors of the paint to better go with her picture and the feel of her layout. She also used a few elements from the companion kit, Spirited.

Here is what I came up with.

drink%20upSo on to the rules…

Scrap a page using some of Danyale’s fabulous paints along with any Etc by Danyale kit of your choice.

Remember, if you scrap with a new release the first week within its release, you will get an extra entry point. For example, Danyale has a new kit that releases on the 1st, you purchase that kit and scrap a layout with it posting it by the 8th and now you get two entries instead of one.

Upload your layout and post it here for us to gush over by midnight EST on Saturday April 30, 2016.

One lucky winner will be chosen at random to receive a $10 coupon to Danyale’s store.

We can’t wait to see how you use paint this month!
